At Sovereign we see advice as a craft and not a trade. Sovereign believes
that developing quality advice requires skill, experience and the right approach
to research.

Sovereign seeks to be leading edge in research and investment thinking. This
has been reflected, among other things, in our detailed analysis of market opportunity in an extensive range of alternative investments, our pursuit of better product (and fee) structures, our consideration of a wide universe of managers
and our unique approach to manager due diligence that has been progressively
refined by our experience over many years.

We believe value is ephemeral and the optimal strategy will evolve over time -
we must therefore be flexible in our thinking and dynamic in our approach.
